Award winning Writer-Director Rosie Westhoff's first short film Crush premiered at BFI Flare in March 2017 and has had official selection into Edinburgh International Film Festival , TIFF Kids International Film Festival, Encounters Film Festival, Underwire Festival, LSFF and more recently it won Best International Short Film at Afrodite Shorts in Rome.
Rosie recently won the first round of Shooting Peoples "Short Cuts" competition where she was awarded mentorship from BFI NETWORK, Creative England, Channel 4 Random Acts, Lightbox & Wildgaze Films throughout 2018.
Rosie’s second short film Blue premiered at The Scottish Mental Health Festival in May 2018.
Rosie’s latest short film Treacle premiered at BFI Flare in March.
She is currently developing another short film as well as an eight-part coming of age drama series and her first feature film.
